Nothing fancy, so let's say sub $500. I've bought from Jomashop in the past but wondering if there's someone better.

Cadence Watch Company puts out SOLID products at a very, very reasonable price.

You won't be dropping any panties with name brand, but for aesthetics+practicality+price, they're hard to beat.

For that price have you looked at Laco? Buy directly from them or off of eBay.

https://m.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=Laco&isNewKw=1&isRefine=true&mfs=GOCLK&acimp=0&_trksid=p2056088.m2428.l1313.TR12.TRC2.Xlaco&sqp=laco

I've bought a watch off of Gnomon and everything went well.

Thanx I'll check it out. Looking specifically for a diver with a black band to replace my Luminox that filled up with saltwater and rusted out.

$500 is tough, but closer to $1k opens up nice choices.

I like Ocean 7 for divers.

One day you'll make a suggestion that's actually inside of someone's posted budget.

You proposed a 100% increase in budget.

Quick hijack

Are those raybans they sell on 'Jomashop' fake? Because they are literally half of what retail stores sell them for and over the years I haven't seen much variance in prices no matter where you get them for real raybans.

wife got me an Omega seamaster for a wedding day present.

I know that doesn't help this discussion, but just had to brag.

I really like the Chris Ward c60 divers. The mechanical options are out of your price range, but it looks like you're cool with Quartz--they offer their Trident 300 in 43mm or 38mm for under $500.

That or it's some kind of optical illusion like the people holding snakes on a 10 foot pole.
