I work Mon-Thurs @ 9hr and Fri @ 4hrs (7AM-11AM). But lets be honest Friday is more of a show my face at the office kind of day.

Structural Steel Estimator.

My wife is a healthcare provider and doesn't work on Fridays.

I'm a bit envious, but I think I would take a 5 day work week from home over a 4 day work week in the office.

I used to. When I didn't have kids. It was great then. It would be awful now.

I have a 4/10 schedule. I am a project manager who just moved over from engineering manager for a company that makes widgets for commercial and defense companies.

I rarely work just 40 hrs. I put in 6-8 hrs on most Fridays and some weekend work. I just don’t have to be fully available on Fridays. The ones lower on the food chain get the Fridays off.

I usually have Friday off. I have been a teacher but now have a more administrative role. I often do paperwork on Fridays. The rest of the week, I work in person dealing with learning and behavior problems.

I would fish a whole lot more, every Fri. and/or Sat.

The wife does (as best I understand it) pilot re-scheduling. Her job is 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off (but that can change wildly depending on changing schedules with other employees).

I have a half day on Fridays. I work as a Physical Therapist. A lot of outpatient clinics either do half days on Fridays or you get a full day off during the week. Great day to catch up on yard work and chores around the house. Wish I could take Wednesdays off and never have to work more than two days in a row.

Off every Wednesday, I like the mid week break I call it my “mid week weekend”. I do whatever I want

Always curious who works four 10 hour shifts and has Monday or Friday off.

I'm sure lots of baws do with shift work.

I work in a plant. Been on 4-10s for 18 years, except when we have a turnaround.

FYI, shift work is different than 4-10s. I would not want to be on a shift work schedule. I can't stand working nights. I like being off every Fri, Sat and Sun.
