I give them ketchup packets. That way if they get that food they are looking for they already have the condiments.

last time I gave money to a homeless guy, he tried to fight me the next day. He was in a wheelchair.

How'd this go down? Did he see your knuckles and back off?

Your friend is a piece of shite who encourages these motherfrickers. Beggars are everywhere these days, even out here in Katy where there's no homeless shelters around and Help Wanted signs everywhere.

Besides, they can get food stamps, disability, housing, phones, and god knows what else.

The same guy sits outside the gas station by my house. I gave him $10 once just so I can ask him everyday if he has that $10 I loaned him. He always has some bullshite excuse.

Don't give them money. They'll blow it on alcohol. If anything I'd give them food but usually just stay away because they're sketchy.

There is a "one stop shop" for homeless in BR next to the Salvation Army food kitchen place right off Florida Blvd. homeless can go in and watch tv, wash their clothes, take a shower, check their mail, see a lawyer, see a doctor/dentist and sign up for all the gov't programs. It is all run with taxes I pay. That's my handout to them.

I do sometimes. Even if they're buying alcohol or cigarettes who cares. If we can buy it why cant they? I can afford to spare a few bucks here and there. I dont know their story and dont really care
