If I ever move from where I live it'll be because I want more fall in my life. Maybe when the kids are out of college in 10 years I can talk the wide into being a transplant in Colorado or the Virginia mountains.

Yes, because that's what fall in Louisiana looks like.

Fall is easily my favorite time of year. Cool, crisp mornings. Changing leaves while hiking in Vermont. Fire pits at night with coffee stouts.

I never realized football season had an actual feel to it, but it does, and it's not a miserable heat.

Edit: Always sad to see summer go, though. We've been hitting the beach a lot this year (maybe 8-10 times so far) and it'll be a shame when that comes to an end.

Do the two of you have another sibling that can take care of your parents with both of you gone, though?

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. So if they move and leave their parents in their hometown, they are bad people? I really am confused by this statement.
