Hey, you could be right. I'm just basing this off of my experiences growing up in a small southern town. Anybody I knew that would say that to a black person's face was pretty openly racist.

Maybe I'm wrong, and he was just trying to tell an innocent joke. But the fact that he got his arse kicked for it tells me that's unlikely.

Were his teammates racist too? Jesus.

This is a legit sediment by a lot of people seeing this apparently.

While the kid was obviously pissed, he clearly gave permission to have his hair cut, and should be applauded for that sacrifice. Blaming the people allowing him to make that decision is lunacy.

Shooting a racism bomb at the guy who simply brought the story attention and gave the dude props for pulling out the victory is one hell of a move

Your point? It takes a little more than me knowing someone said a racial slur at a social gathering 2 years ago to deem them a racist

Backpedal much?

"Well we don't know if he said it! Can't call him racist!"

"Oh... he admitted it? Well.... we still don't know if he's racist!"

People who get offended by words are weak minded. I’m not saying the guy isn’t a racist, but honestly, there’s no better time to be an actual racist because the definition has been diluted so incredibly much the last few years, it has lost true meaning.

Lastly, this kid looks whiter than me.

Seriously?!

I've never, ever been tempted to call a black person a n****r in a social situation. To think it's OK to do so is a ppprreeeettttyyyy good sign that, yes, you are indeed a fricking racist.

Dreadlocks are nasty and ghetto as hell. Really disgusts me.

It's even worse when white people try them out as they just look absolutely ridiculous.

Yep. They would measure our hair in PE and send us home if it were too long.

I personally don't know a single racist.

Racism is the most overhyped present social situation

And anybody that is comfortable enough to drop the N bomb around a black person has used it plenty of the times behind the scenes.

It specifically did not say he dropped an N. It says he used a racial slur. He may not have, but perception made it seem like a racial slur. We don't have enough information to form an opinion. I would be curious about what was actually said.

I would also be curious about the head covering the kid had on, and why it did, or did not, fall within the rules.

If any of you think dreads on a wrestler are ok, then you haven’t wrestled. It feels like sand paper crossing your face.
