I’ve actually seen people get mad at the team/coach for letting him cut his hair and not just take the forfeit. Which is pretty insane

When I was in HS, wrestlers weren’t even allowed to keep facial hair

I’ve seen this happen to white wrestlers as well. When they show up to the mat or weigh ins with facial scruff, they can either shave it or not wrestle. Same with long fingernails. Same reason long fingernails and loose clothing is illegal.
As a wrestling official, this is textbook, by the rules, uniform/equipment requirement. Wrestler could’ve contained it within a cap or not wrestled.

Yeah finger and toe nails are a no go

It's incredible that people rush to white knight for folks that are involved in obviously racist incidents (Not referring to the haircutting thing, that's yet to be seen. If the headcover was illegal for some reason, that's on the kid for not knowing the rules.). It's as annoying as SJW cucks that rush to condemn white folks automatically in any situation involving minorities, regardless of the facts.

Your, and others', lack of understanding of what being a racist actually is, is what's causing this country to go down the shitter. Saying something exceptionally mean and/or inappropriate does not make a person a racist. Especially when you have no clue as to the context of the situation. I've called my kid a shithead when telling stories of her being a pain in the arse. It doesn't mean I actually equate my child to shite. If you can't understand this basic concept of linguistics, you aren't intelligent enough to carry on a conversation about something as serious as racism.

Ah,the ole false dilemma fallacy. Cute.
If he had called the guy "shithead", then there would not be an issue. But he intentially chose a racially charged term to draw a specific type of reaction. And anybody that is comfortable enough to drop the N bomb around a black person has used it plenty of the times behind the scenes. And I have a hard time believing he used it in a positive manner. Many of the racial issues in this country are completely overblown issues or are fabricated entirely to show how racist and awful the other side is. This is just as stupid.
