How does being a racist work? If you've ever done something racist in your life are you forever a racist? Are there classes that you have to take for recovering racists?

Then there's the forcing someone to cut their hair in front of everyone or forfeit the match kind of mistake.

Not a mistake if it was within the rules.

As a wrestling official, this is textbook, by the rules, uniform/equipment requirement. Wrestler could’ve contained it within a cap or not wrestled.

I'm looking at the pictures in the wresting handbook and they're pretty ridiculous.

That's an allowable haircut, but this guy has to cut his hair in New Jersey? That's hogwash.

Wearing a hair cover is another option, but you're checked for grooming at weigh in. If he got through that, this referee isn't allowed to force his hand right before the match, at least as far as I can tell.

I don't see how long hair would do anything but hurt you in a match.

If they want it long then let them.

I think we’re close in age and hair was a big thing in hs, if you wanted to play sports your hair had to be above the ears and collar, plain and simple, and we really stood out

The lack of objectivity and critical thinking is why this county is going down the shitter.
Dude, you are rushing to call someone racist based on an internet article saying someone "heard this guy say a slur at a social gathering in 2016"

Think about that

This is a non-story.

Poor kid had his hair cut and was embarrassed.

Do you have links to times when the OT had an exact opposite reaction to a situation that involves a kid of another race?

Honestly, Scruffy doesn’t know how some of you get through the day with how easily y’all get riled up by stories like this.

This reminds me of the story of Sampson because all the Israelites were black in the Bible

In HS, even if you didn’t play sports, hair had to be a certain length.

That was back when Scruffy had hair.

Good times...

Yeah, the general population had restrictions too, we had a couple of dudes that their hair was so important to them that they wore wigs at school to tuck their hair under

Fwiw, the ref apologized for that event and underwent sensitivity training, so he seems to admit it happened.

Your point? It takes a little more than me knowing someone said a racial slur at a social gathering 2 years ago to deem them a racist

Seemed like you were doubting the authenticity of the claim.
