videos on youtube of people doing expidited freight in high top sprinter vans as owner operators.

would live in the van and wait for a broker to call with expedited cargo.

Said it was risky to take cargo to Laredo because youd get stuck there.

Seemed like they were getting by. This was during covid. Who knows what its like now.

No but this helps military members find jobs when they are out/getting out of the military.

It might not be glamorous but it's at least some help for vets.

I told my wife to quit asking hotel clerks and Uber drivers for restaurant recommendations. Maybe if you want street food or other cheap eats, fine, but the driver is not likely well informed on the nicer restaurants in town.

Depends on where you would be operating and if you can find freight consistently enough. If you know what you're doing it can absolutely pay pretty well.
