First impression was away. When it turns, it looks like it's walking toward. Then it ends seeming clearly away.

Just watch the legs. It’s walking from left to right towards the camera. If you don’t focus on the legs it looks like it’s walking away.

My dudes on here forget how to chase tail?
In this case literally. Towards the camera the entire time. Pivots a bit to the camera left. Dark surrounded by snow and shot how ever this is shot.

Also the dress was always black. It was never blue and gold.
Laurel was always the word. It was never Yanni.
Your brain can make the ballet spinner go either way if you refocus.
This one aren’t those. It’s clear.

eta: ole fella got a hip problem even in snow :-(

Away. It’s pretty obvious throughout but the turn at the end gives it away.

EDIT: I’m retarded. Watched it 5 more times and it’s clear as day walking towards the camera.

I commend the OP for seeking everyone’s view.

I guess you could say he’s conducting a . . .

gallop poll.

Clearly walking away. Otherwise he would be a deformed horse.

this is going to sound like a smart arse answer, and I don't mean it that way, but if you know horse gaits then you know its walking away. they just move in a left to right way naturally.

I thought it was towards the camera until the very last second, it clearly looks like he turns his head from left to right as he's walking away

I was 100% convinced it was walking away after the first watch. After watching it again, it's walking towards. Now I'm all f*** up.
