These are the 5 shortest land borders between U.S. States
5. Massachusetts & Vermont: 41mi
4. TIE:
Missouri & Oklahoma: 34mi
Oklahoma & New Mexico: 34mi

*Only curved state line except for water or terrain boundaries.

I mean four corners is a point. That’s pretty short for the states in opposite corners

The **Four Corners** is the only place in the United States where the borders of four states meet: Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.

I saw this video recently. The four states that share the four corners is the answer. Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona

And it's on Navaho land. They have a paved road to it, and a toll collector who must be paid. `

Then you get there and it’s a big metal plate surrounded by a flea market selling fake Native American trinkets and blankets.

I figured it was West Virginia doing that little prison shank move in between Ohio and Pennsylvania

This probably isn’t widely known but a corner isn’t a border. There are judicial decisions in at least a few states to that effect - mostly dealing with trespass.
I don’t know what the answer is

Colorado is the state with the most sides, almost 700.
Most people think the state is a rectangle but it is really a hexahectaenneacontakaiheptagon.

Since you highlighted land, I'm thinking it's the stupid Carter Lake part of the Iowa/Nebraska border. Rest of the border is the river.

Is it the Virginia/Maryland border at Cape Charles ?
