Wisconsin. Unique identity that embraces a blend of cultural influences, mostly from central Europe. Inward-looking culture that is proud of its uniqueness and doesn't really care to change. Heavy drinkers who love football. Generally friendly and welcoming people so long as you get on their level.

Historically popular city that has been dying for ages.

Split culturally between the uppers and low peninsula

People from their can’t stop talking about how great it is even though they have all moved to Chicago or New York (Atlanta and houston for la)

Maryland folks are really proud of some weird shite. Oddly proud. Like their state flag. I see some of that mentality in Louisiana

People from LA are friendly but not in a genuine way. It’s more of a friendly in the moment to your face thing. Welcoming? not so much. If you aren’t from there they don’t want to be your friend.

I think it's NJ, and not just bc I live there.

We're both humid with lots of swampland, both have lots of chemical plants and oil refineries. The northern and southern parts of the state are fairly different in both. Massive levels of public sector corruption and incompetence. Cities that have war zone type of shooting and murder rates. Live in the shadow of our bigger more culturally relevant neighbor (NY for us TX for LA). Etc

Easily. Good fishing and hunting.

They drink like fish.

Their cities suck for the same reasons.
