Worst for me was SRV. He had been sober for a few years and Jimmie said he was doing great. The other 3 copters made it out of Alpine Valley without incident.

I was born in '71 and distinctly remember when Elvis died.

I remember because in Baton Rouge, they activated the Emergency Broadcast System to announce it on the TV. I recall that happening. When it finished, I went and found my mom and told her. She was at the washing machine loading it with clothes.

I recall walking up and telling her and she started crying.

Has to be Lennon due to the nature of his death. I think people could see the writing the wall for Elvis and MJ. Was not going to end well.
