Anyone watched the Netflix special on her? She actually got screwed by the US soccer federation.
The US women's soccer team was actually brining in a lot more money than the men's. They were good, the men's team sucked (because no real man plays soccer in the US right?) and they gave the numbers, but the US soccer federation was giving the men's team 80% of the money, the women's 20%.
All of a sudden her teammates, like Megan Rispone or whatever that little dyke girl is named, turned on her. The federation pretty much told them to discredit her. But then when the time came that it was popular to support women in all sports to get paid more, Rispone was front and center, likely because she was told by someone, even what she was supporting wasn't practical. It is a pretty good documentary.

This was selective reporting. The women’s soccer team made more in the US from US sponsored events. But the men’s team made more money from their cut of the World Cup than the women make in like 8 years. And that’s with the men’s team sucking.
The women now make more money off of the men’s team than they do by actually winning the women’s events.

Also seems I remember the women’s team playing a 15U or 16U boys team and losing badly.

I did not meet my wife until we were both in our 70s, but we have shared pictures with each other of our younger days. My wife was a beaut in her 20s and 30s (she was a model then).
