Wife and I booked a cheap suite and then upgraded to the Casitas at the check in counter.
Concierges in the hut try to offer you deals to come back, don't fall for that ish. Also you can buy weed from the cabana boy, but it is dirt. Didn't try the blow.
Edit: Pro tip- this is for you too, OP- if you get a casita with the private beach, the cabana boy can bring you a cooler with ice for your beers. I didn't realize this until like day 3. It's not a YETI but it gets the job done.

Yeah go to a strip club in the main part of town away from the tourists like i did in 1995. I sat there for half an hour watching some Mexican crooner try to sing Sinatra songs because all the dancers had left with Johns.
