Because there are at least two agencies investigating the incident. There's also likely to be a civil suit if the 75k+ engine was damaged as the result of poor workmanship by the service company.

I think the NTSB has to perform an investigation and I’m assuming they couldn’t get there until at least tomorrow. That’s just my guess though.

You joke (I think)...but if that plane is still sitting there, people are going to slow down and look.
I drove that stretch of I-10 headed to Prairieville about 3:30 and traffic was slowed down starting well before Highland exit. And shocker....traffic begin to pick up speed again right after where the plane was sitting.
