Why?
A)Do you like paying the hefty annual fee just for having one?
B)The perks?
C)The charge limits?
D)Its a panty dropper?

If this isn't about the Centurion card or whatever they call that black metal one then it shouldn't be addressed to OT Ballers.
Hell, last company I was a partner at gave them to all the equity owners just for the free airline clubs. Not that big of a deal.

Platinum Amex.
Has good travel benefits. No pre-set spending limit.
It's also a baller status card. Metal. Feels great.

There's nothing "balling/special" about most Platinum cards these days.

Chase Sapphire. I pay off each month
Just cashed in points for a trip to the East Coast for my entire family (4). Took three years to accrue
Perks:
Free car rental insurance
Double points on travel and food

That's what didn't make sense here. A platinum master are is like 90 bucks and gets you dick all.
My diamond citi is free and has great rewards.
Next I'm getting is MasterCard Black. Sexy looking card

The Luxury card from Barclays? I have it. It is a cool card but the perks are so-so compared to my Sapphire Reserve.

Unfortunately chase and I had a disagreement 5 years ago when someone maxed my card and they refused to do anything about it.
Never again.

Just checked and you’re right. Doesn’t cover trucks and all of the exotic and antique cars though.

Amex Plat. Travel perks and ability to call the concierge service and get shi! handled I don't have time for is the only thing that makes it worth it.
Classic example: we were at dinner one night and wife decided we were going to spend the night in NO the next night. Gave them a call and said get me a room at x hotel, with a do not exceed dollar amount of x. Before we left the restaurant, I had an email and text of our booking. We usually also get $100 hotel services (bar, rest., spa) credit, free WIFI, and always 4:30 checkout.

Sapphire Reserve. Just for the perks.
Dgaf about metal, charge limits, panty dropper. And I certainly would prefer to not pay a fee.

My only complaint about AMEX are the Centurion lounges at airports. Most are too crowded.
At least AMEX is addressing the problem and expanding some of them.

AMEX Platinum here
A)Do you like paying the hefty annual fee just for having one?
Like paying? No. That said, not a big deal if you take advantage of B.
B)The perks?
There are a lot. I like the travel concierge function, but there are a lot more.
C)The charge limits?
I have no limit...well, no real limit.
D)Its a panty dropper?

You’re not a true baller unless you can pay cash for everything.
