Which is the worst rebranding (name change)

A) changing from the New Orleans Zephyr’s to the New Orleans Babycake’s
B) changing from Dixie Beer to Faubourg Beer
Both of these organizations are now out of business after both being successful. Why was it done?
Dixie was said to have connotations to slavery. Ok, fine, but “Fauborg”! Wow…
The Zephers were sold and the new owners wanted something different, but Babycake's?? They claimed it refers to the Kingcake, but personally, I have never heard of anyone using this term.
Name more, obviously the Washington Redskins to the Commanders is very high on the list. Aunt Jamima to Pearl Milling Company is another.

People only drank it for nostalgic reasons, now no one knows how to even pronounce the name. The name was the product, not the beer.

Babycake doesn’t even make sense. They’re referring to cake babies. That’s still a terrible name, of course.
