Actually the Navy has their own jump and free fall but to be qualified to jump out of AF aircraft they have to go to Benning.
Navy jump school also isn't a mind numbing 3 weeks

Agreed.
I have deployed multiple times to OIF and OEF. I have never been on a ship. I was a part of the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 and We flew our entire Unit's equipment and troops via C5.

The division that you're not cleared to know about.

The Battle of the Merrimack and Monitor made every country in the world navy obsolete. You could argue that they still have caught up.

U.S. Coast Guard isn't a part of the Department of Defense. They actually work for the Department of Homeland Security.

We didn't. Our equipment was on ships circling the island of Cypress waiting for Turkey to decide whether or not we were going to be allowed to stage in their country at Iskanderia to move south.
Finally we found out it would be through Kuwait as we watched 3ID go up north on TV while our flights were still being booked.

Navy- It has nearly twice the nuclear warheads than the Air Force and more then any other country except Russia.

Except that jump school wouldn't operate without Air Force aircraft. The entire school is completely dependent on airlift provided entirely by the Air Force. Unless you just want to jump off towers and call it good enough.

All serve a vital role. Each makes the others stronger. Takes all 4 to win a war....so, none more important than the others. (Not including coast guard here...). Its a symbiotic relationship with each puzzle piece doing a job that benefits and strengthens the other pieces.
I would love to see how our last two wars and whatever this is with ISIS could have been handled if out military was completely unleashed.
Politicians should decide when we go to war and when that decision has been made the military should be told what is to be accomplished (set certain goals) and let them operate as needed.
The reason we have been in Afghanistan and Iraq for over a decade is that we place too many limits on all the branches of the military.
If these two wars were fought with the mentality of WWII it certainly would not have taken 12 years to do.
I mean a Dresden like scenario. Complete destruction.

Someone has to provide the Air Force with something to do

When I worked with Army guys I would get so mad how they could just get what they wanted with ease to get the job done. While the AF pinches fricking pennies.
That's because the AF spends their money on QOL projects.

Thought they were Department of Transportation unless wartime, then they slide over to DoD. Must've changed
