Been watching live PD today, so it got me thinking. Most of the areas today on the show were white trash areas. I’ve passed some sketchy areas in my Jeep exploring the local dirt roads. Not sure it is any less dangerous than driving through the hood.

Eta....I have a 36'trailer and a 21' boat parked on my 2nd lot and I have a 16' boat under my carport. No one has fricked with any of it and that's been my biggest concern.

Lived most of my life in the backwoods near meth-trailers and tweekers and have never been shot at there.
I have been shot at multiple times in the hood while minding my own business. The hood is orders of magnitude more dangerous.

The hood is worse than meth areas. Never go into an area like South side of Chicago. May not come out alive

Hood because you're more likely to be essentially "randomly" targeted, but you will get yourself in trouble if you're fricking around in the boonies where you don't belong.

I grew up in the 'hood. All my relatives are from Monteagle Mountain. I know both areas well.
The 'hood by far is the most dangerous.
Anyone who says different has never been in a real 'hood.
The predators actively seek out victims. You can get shot for fun.
White people are real targets. Especially those who do not know how to carry themselves. Those who are oblivious to their surroundings. The predators literally call them "a gift".
I rode a girl I was dating through the 'hood one night. She grew up in small town Georgia. I was pointing out criminal activity. She asked, "how are you spotting all of this?" Like I told her. When you live there. You have to be able to spot it or it might be you.

I'll choose the hood all day err day over some place in the boonies where I'm not "from around here." In the hood most people ignore you if you mind your own business. In the wrong part of meth town you're going to get some Neo-Nazis asking WTF you're doing.
