Kid, because my maniac parents used to let me and my friends loose in our neighborhood for trick or treating by ourselves. We just had to be home for a certain time. I was like 9 and there were 6 or so kids in our group (a few were older), but still. FREEDOM!

I hope one day I love Halloween as much I did when I was a kid. Maybe when I have my own little terrors running around I will be enthused about it again, but I just don't care that much anymore.

Halloween is always awesome when you are a kid, when you are in high school and pretty much through your 20's for different reasons. 30+ it's a crap shoot.
