Which city in Texas is worth living in and why

I've personally have been flirting with this idea for sometime. Currently i'm in the DFW area however i'm originally from Houston. I'd rather be back home yet some people, mostly those from Dallas, of course say that D-Town is better. But why? Which city is more appealing?
1. Houston - To me, with a little bias, is more laid back. Chill. Entrepreneur and business driven as well as friendly. Of course the traffic sucks on 45, I-10, 610 during rush hour and random times throughout the week. Aside from that, not a flashy city. Crime rate, from what i recall isnt as bad.
2. Dallas - Growing city with lots to do. Flashy in its own way. Most people here from what i've seen show what they have (cars, money, clothes, etc) which i guess is todays norm. Traffic isn't as bad. People can come off as stuck up depending on where you are. Feels its more about who you know here. But maybe thats anywhere.
3. Austin - Wasn't originally in the decision but Austin is turning into a mini-Silcon valley. Smaller than both Houston and Dallas but there a lot of land for growth and building real estate. Great scenery, nice people and opportunities. Has a college vibe mainly due to UT but that's expected once you go into the city.

Weird that Tyler didn't make your list.

1) Biggest City with La inhabitants
2) Movers and Shakers live in these parts
3) If you are a SJW or Proggy move there so you don't frick up the rest of Texas.

Tyler? San Antonio and Fort Worth would make this list before Tyler.

I think they are all worth living in. I wouldn't turn down any, although Houston scares me after the flood.

ETA: The answer is very subjective depending on your age, hobbies, kids/no kids, single/married, etc. Each city listed is better than the others when looking at it from different aspects.
I personally think Dallas is best, but I have never lived in Houston or Austin so my opinion may be biased. The job market in Dallas is better than the others. Dallas gets seasons and way less humidity than Houston. Dallas suburbs are newer and bigger. School system is incredible. Crime is lower compared to Houston, not sure about Austin.
Also, when people say that Dallas is stuck up, that is only one area and consists of one demographic. If you aren't in that demographic, you probably won't even experience this. The city is so big that if you stick with cool people you will have a great time. There is such a variety out here.

What is the argument for living in San Antonio over Dallas or even Houston?

1. Best economy of the group, tons of LSU fans, closer travel to BR and New Orleans
2. prefer Fort Worth to Dallas
3. Very liberal, but still a great town with great music and food scene. Has grown too much over the recent years and overwhelmed its infrastructure.

4. Grapevine. but that's just me.
I love that it has a small town vibe, and its close enough to Dallas to keep the convenience of the city within reach.

Austin was great 15-20 years ago. Entirely too many people now for a city that wasn't built to handle it.

And Austin people are confused and might consider themselves tree's, pansexuals, etc.

I'll take fake and boring over this any day.

I always liked Fort Hancock, TX. It is where Andy crossed.
