Austin, New Orleans, Nashville, Seattle, Chicago. A lot of larger cities have surprisingly dead downtowns like Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles

It’s nice enough looking, but it was one of the most dead downtowns for a city its size as I’ve ever seen. I’m talking even in the middle of a workday.

Sure, if you're looking for a place to locate a bunch of depleted uranium shells. OKC used to be pretty decent. Not sure where the Thunder play, but if it's downtown I'd imagine it's even better now.

Fort Worth’s downtown is very overrated. Two or three good bars and restaurants, then it’s nothing but P.F. Chang’s and 5 guys

The term “downtown” is usually inaccurate when used for big cities. Dallas has some really cool downtown-like areas. Many cities the downtown is not really downtown, but just a cool urban area.
