Germans also had the coolest equipment and tanks.
But sort of like their cars. Awesome designs but in the shop a lot.

The burlap sacks wrapped around the hard-assed American GI looked best..... because you can wrap shite in Christmas wrapping but it is still shite.
I do not care what hung off of them.... the heart, soul, mind, and body of the American soilder was more polished than any uniform.

Those NAZI knee high boots were the bomb.
Hitler's racism didn't form in a vacuum. The Nazi's adopted alot of their ideas of Eugenics, Evolutionay Ethics and his interpretation of Darwinism from contemporary academia. Much of the Eugenics movement formed in the US, long before the Nazi's came into being.

In the original 50 Murphy's Laws of Combat Operations, number 46 states
"All other things being equal, the side with the simplest uniforms wins."

Hard to disagree with the sharp look of the SS uniforms. Besides the whole being evil pieces of shite thing, the Nazis had an impeccable sense of style.

I still think our boys had the best looking combat helmets.
Those helmets were still used until around 1986 I think.

I have a German M-42 helmet that my Dad took off a dead soldier. He also got the Luger and belt (my Brother has these). When we were kids we would run around wearing the helmet until we found out it came off a dead person.

Then I can't help but think how much time and money went into designing and creating these intricate uniforms for a regime that would fall and was basically wiped off the face of the Earth
The regime did fall, but there are still Nazi's among us.
