For you baws thinking you're going to survive on deer. If a large percent of the population truly gets hungry, within a couple of months whitetails would be extinct.

I know of a little known geothermal spring on government land in the middle of nowhere about 2 hours from here.

My knee jerk thought was to head for the hills. The Rocky Mountains are ~5 miles from my back door. When I considered a bunch of other yahoos would probably be thinking the same thing, the plains to the East seem much more tempting. Can get set up in a house on a hill and see everything for literally miles in every direction. Set up a perch on the roof to post up with a .338, plenty of space for livestock..

That people have the thought to make posts like this…what does it say about where we are currently as a country and civilization?

Serious question. I see a good bit of people planning to go to a spot or area if SHTF, and good bit of people hunkering down. What’s the reason to go someplace you are not familiar with? Sure you have have been there once before or in the past but it seems like you wouldn’t know it in and out like where you currently are. I guess I understand if you are in a more urban setting with tons of people but if I have a home even in suburbs I feel like I could defend it better than being on my own and I have much more resources than I could carry with me.

Unless you have a day headstart, you're better off staying at home. Roadblocks, traveling bandits, gridlock traffic and no electricity/gas. Most are better off staying put and banding together with neighbors

My dad’s friend was a prepper. When he died @20 years ago, I had to go the house in the country and help his wife throw all that crap away. Buckets and cases of grains and supplies, freeze dried stuff, batteries, equipment, etc. all that stuff was 20 years old when I ditched it, cant imagine what it would be like now. If he was still alive, he’d be in his late 80’s still waiting for the STHTF. People have been prepping for hundreds of years. Made sense 150 years ago, not today, society isn’t going to collapse.

NOLA. Society is already broken down, so the hysteria will be mild

Probably doesn’t matter. Most of us would be dead in a matter of weeks in a true collapse

Mass and eucharistic are powerless. Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
