When I was in high school, there was this deer camp out on private property in the sticks. They had acres of woods, a lake w/ a dock and this nice cabin with a kitchen and a few bunk beds. It was the safest place to go drink and not get busted.

Every Friday and Saturday night, the local country music station would have this show called “The Outlaw Hours” from 11-3 a.m. and all they played was Hank, Waylon, David Allan Coe, etc. A classmate and I stayed up all night drinking and playing cards. About the crack of Dawn, we found some fishing poles in a closet and walked down to the dock to catch some bluegill or crappie. We got down there and this couple was laying on a blanket buck naked getting it on. We just laughed and told them we’d walk down the bank and find a spot.

Good times.

Chick friend of mine's grandparents had a place on a big pond across the street from Brown's salvage on Forrest Delatte in Denham. We used to frick and fight back there on occassion.

In HS there were several places in the woods or down oil field roads in east Texas where everyone would hang out, drink, listen to music, etc. Normally word would spread around school on Friday where we were going to meet up.

I grew up just outside a little town in No. Alabama named Altoona. This was in the height of the 1980s. The party place was an old cemetery up on Altoona mountain who’s actual name I’ve never known other than what everyone then called. I can’t actually post what everyone called it at they time without getting banned. Instead I’ll just say it was known as the “People who annoy you” graveyard.
