I stay in the Jackson area often for work. Madison/Ridgeland area is by far the best and nicest. Very clean. Embassy Suites is where I typically stay and then the Hyatt Place and Hilton Garden Inn. Also, great places to eat shop and it's a safe area.

The Westin downtown, and Hilton downtown are nice places, if you aren’t looking to walk around the premises.

Flowood and Ridgeland are going to have the most hotel selections, although there is a Hilton in North Jackson with a Drago's next door.

Pearl has a Holiday Inn Express right next to Bass Pro and an outlet mall. You are safe in Pearl despite it being next to downtown Jackson. The cops are over the top in Pearl and Jackson is scared of them.

Madison and Brandon are fine but further out.

Go north of County Line Road - maybe even go to Madison. Anything south is just not safe.

At a strip club, they at least have security to stop your vehicle from being broken into.

Also, there are a lot of beta males on here.

The Bass Pro is in Pearl and there's some really good hotels close by. The holiday Inn is right next door with an Alumni House restaurant that's got some good food inside the hotel. You'll have BPS on one side and the outlet mall on the other. Great area.

And your assumption would be totally incorrect.

Context... My advice was for others rather than for myself.

I enjoyed working the streets in many of the rougher parts of the US. But we were trained and equipped to handle whatever came our way. That is not the case for most people.
