Yeah, sounds like him.

Did he work at Old New Orleans Bar and Grill on Lobdell after the Happy Note closed?

What was his last name? I can look up the obit.

Obit

I don’t think this is the bartender I was talking about. The one I remember was tall and lanky. He is a good guy too.

The tall lanky bartender who worked at old Happy Note and later Old NO was Jack. Tommy died of a heart attack

Jack must be it. Thanks.

I was at the Happy Note on the last night until it closed. They were selling items out of it. Bought one of the plastic cup globes. Hangs in my garage now. The first swallows on a mix drink really burned going down but got easier after a few. Good times.

Wow, that is him! Great job. I was going to say he looked like Pete Postlewaite from the Usual Suspects but I just remembered it when I saw Tommy’s picture. He was a lot of fun.

Tommy was around during the 80’s for sure and maybe into the early 90’s.

I find it amusing to watch the bartenders work at the Sazerac in the Roosevelt Hotel NOLA on a busy night.

Brian Flanagan over at Cocktails & Dreams. If Jordan ever dumps him, I'm calling dibs on her!
