Remember when the media lied about Sturgis being a "superspreader"?
It been bullshite from the beginning. Lib filth like jbe, broome, cantrell Pelosi Cuomo Deblasio etc love tyranny by government fiat.
They're loving the power & control over our lives; as other lib filth assassinate cops & burn the country down.
But they are the enlightened ones. Not. I say we all tell them to fuc off & live life maskless.

The gist is the business owner had a private meeting with Latoya. He told her that businesses are suffering. Some are never coming back, or are moving to neighboring parishes. Latoya's response was "I don't care."
When he asked what her plan was to help suffering businesses, she replied "This is the fault of the Federal Government, and they have to make it right." When she was asked what would happen if the fed doesn't come through she asked the business owner what his plan was.
"Get out my way and let me do business," was his reply.
She responded "well, we can discuss what the government can and can't do, but I'm the government."
I'm still listening, but that's pretty damning so far.

And the worst part about it is that there are no financial consequences for these clowns. The Problem Solving Caucus put forth an agreement that had $500B for state and local governments. This is for deficits, as well as proven shortfalls resulting from shutting down businesses over Covid.
So they can continue shut downs much longer than needed, and then have the federal government cover the tax shortfalls. No lose situation for these mayors.
As usual, tax payers are the ones getting humped.
