2 kids? Our townhouse is 1400 sqft and I’d have to move if we had one kid.

Mine was built in 71. So I guess there is my answer.

My house is less than 900 sqft and has the AC in the attic

Parents house is over 5000 sq ft and their AC is in a closet

Is it a safety issue like it is to have your water heater in the attic?

Still just the 1, but we do want more sometime soon. And we've maxed what we can handle in this house. I grew up in big houses, and being here has been quite the adjustment

Subtle brag When you have space like that, easy access for servicing is nice.

My parents old house was 3500 and there was one unit in the garage attic and one in the second floor attic.

I have a package unit. The only inside A/C heating equipment is the return air filter. Having noisy water dripping mechanical equipment inside the domicile or attic is trashy.

I have two attics. One unit in each attic. I also have a package unit on top of my game room/pool house. You could probably just slide yours under your trailer....maybe sit it on a pallet or something.
