And yet four years with power, including two with the senate, house, and White House, and no fricking infrastructure bill.

You forget the first year he had zero support from his own party and the next three were spent on a sham impeachment based on a complete series of lies.

Don’t act like he wasn’t trying. Where was your “America first” bullshite when the Dems and Republicans were fighting him and undermining him for those 4 years?

FlyingTiger, I agree. We don’t need government to solve everything. But, where they have responsibility let’s hold them accountable. These system failures are decades in the making.

holding them accountable means removing power and influence from them.

you don't run into someone's office you're pissed at and say "God dammit you fricked up, here's more money and power"

but thats what happens when government screws up and we "hold them accountable" by electing them again, or by electing people that will do MORE with their office.

Turns out that 40 years of "the government is the problem" messaging has consequences.

Good thing I'm on Adkin's Diet and have plenty of meat in the freezer. Even if the electricity goes out, I can just put the meat in the garage to keep frozen.

Hush. This is the "dark winter" that President Biden forecasted. Now you need Joe and Kamala more than ever. Misery begets power in this new administration.

Electricity is not a right it’s a modern convenience that we pay for the ability to use. Does it suck to be without absolutely but humans lived for thousands of years without and also during fricking ice ages. Our society is so fragile and only one real natural disaster away from anarchy.

What we do in this country is typically want more government when government screws up. It's regressive.

The last thing I need is government "doing more for me."

We need to elect leaders and not politicians on both sides. That would be a great start.

Well let's see... Oklahoma University freshman student council votes to remove the word "Sooner" because they view that it might be offensive.

What were we talking about again? Oh yea, how tough the USA is today.
