My older sister and her husband are pretty regular pot smokers. He's an executive for a large tech company and she runs marathons. The traditional view of some stoner is largely inaccurate.

It is extremely dangerous so I don’t support it. I still remember vowing in school to “just say no” and wearing my red DARE ribbon. And seeing the video with the egg.

Actually I change my mind. After seeing our government completely shite the bed I don't think they deserve a penny extra so I agree with your statement

You’re welcome and entitled to your opinion. But using this thread as a litmus test, you’re in the very, very small minority.

And this is coming from mostly people living in a deep red state, which is normally the sector of the populace that are anti-legalization.

I'm probably in the minority on this but I think all drugs should be legalized.

I agree with this but I also understand the harder drugs have bad side effects so I'm willing to keep those illegal for recreational use. Anything from nature should be legal provided you aren't processing it.

I think marijuana for personal use should have no regulations. If you are selling it or making something with it (edibles, vap pen oils, etc.) then there should be some regulation in regards to proving quality of product to ensure nothing else is being added.

Some of my favorite times to smoke was at home, before a big LSU or Saints night game against a tough rival or team in the late 2000s.

I don't know if I'd smoke it or not if it was legal. I don't do it due to employment reasons and it used to make me feel really sleepy like an hour later.

It should be legalized nationwide. Additionally, SMALL businesses should receive regulatory preference. As it stands big money corporations are already hard at work monopolizing(aka bribing politicians) the industry in legal states.

That's like asking "should potatoes be legal?"
Potatoes are deadlier than pot. Science man, Science.

Lethal dose equivalent for pot can only be estimated (based on huge dosages given to dogs). The LD for potatoes can and has been measured (potatoes contain solanine)
quote:

Our calculation is backed up by Alexander Pavlista at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln who says that a 100 pound person would have to eat about one pound of fully green potatoes to get sick. That is equivalent to one very large baked potato – diet sites on the internet are full of estimates of weight of potatoes. His report recommends cutting away the green parts.

Isn’t it a depressant? Does it cause lung or breathing issues? Can you get fired for failing a drug test since it’s federally illegal? Isn’t it expensive? At least it doesn’t cause deaths like drunk driving. I don’t like the smell of cigarettes so I sure as hell don’t want to smell it in public.

If cigarettes and alcohol are legal than marijuana should be.

Take some sativa dominant kief and throw a bit in some hot morning coffee. I think you'd enjoy.
