Ours laid down the law. They don’t do dishes and they don’t pick up your random shite. They are there to clean.

My husband hangs out in the sunroom because they don’t clean in there. I usually run errands, or stay in the living room while they clean the bedrooms/bathrooms, and then move to my bedroom while they clean the living/dining/kitchen/powder room.

Prior to retirement, we were at work while the cleaning took place. When my husband worked from home, the office was skipped.

does not compute, just what you need, a maid with an attitude, I have to stop ours from doing too much sometimes, I do have to clear out when she's here though, I usually go over to my daughter's house

Usually on her stomach or her back. Never inside!

(1) don’t work from home

(2) don’t schedule cleaning company during work hours

The garage.

We work until it is time to clean the office while the rest of the house is cleaned. If the weather is nice we sit on the deck, if not wr sut in the living room while the office is cleaned.
