I think part of the reason fedoras look absurd is that people tend to be otherwise poorly dressed when they wear them. It people showed up in suits and overcoats It would be more fitting.

No. Not close at all.

A true fedora is well proportioned with a wider brim.

This is why we need a 4 day work week. We need that extra day to get stuff done. We lose a workout day because of it. Now we are all fat. That makes insurance higher. Causes more stress on hour hospital system and also makes medicare Medicaid and all the govt programs more costly and Joe Dan doesn't feel good so he calls insick so you have more absenteeism and here we are unproductive as a society when it could all be fixed by a 4 day work week. Then and only then would fedoras be cool again.

Anything you don't like is either a hipster, a millennial, or a lib. Keep up.

A fedora looks good with a suit. Putting a classic hat on with shorts or a t-shirt or tennis shoes makes you look like a dumb frick.

Bc they didn’t/don’t wear them with suits like intended and in the first pic. They wear them with tshirts.

It’s like wearing dress shoes with gym shorts. But the dorks don’t realize how dumb they look.

Well, first off, I said “hipster-chic”, as in the fashion, which is a thing regardless of whether the person dressed in the style is a true hipster or not.

And second, fedoras/trilbies are indeed a common item in the hipster-chic wardrobe.
