I stopped at a fireworks stand in MS this past weekend to pick up some old fashioned bottle rockets. Can't buy them in Louisiana anymore. Used to have great bottle rocket wars as a kid..

LA Fireworks. They're in warehouses.

It’s not cool that we cause horses and dogs to die of heart attacks, and then there’s the vets with ptsd. It’s too bad they don’t make quiet ones where they light up the sky, but are silent. We lit up the neighborhood for Y2K, but since then I’ve changed my stance. I’ve seen too many sad posts from fireworks. I won’t say anything to folks who do, thats their option, but I don’t anymore.
