I am retired at 62, didn't do much per se in my career but I am only 62 and can do whatever I want now so who really won?

Yep. And based on your post you must have been two years before me.
Sad/funny thing about your valedictorian is that I went to school with her for years and knew her sister but didn’t know she existed.

He’s a prof at one of the Ivy League schools. I think Princeton. Forget what he teaches.

OP forgot to mention “Cleanup of Mrs BayouNation after her bulls’ visits”

I think the valedictorian in my class is an RN somewhere in Lafayette.

Our valedictorian is some kind of environmental lawyer in San Francisco who posts incessantly about left wing progressivism while living in her multi-million dollar home.

She’s an executive at Intel, we dated, she wanted a relationship, road forked on my end going into the military. Have a great life and great kids now, so I can say I’m 100% blessed, I couldn’t lose either path I chose.
Now the class before me, she has been in and out of jail, addicted to pills/meth, was also the popular cheerleader type. Feel bad for her.
Class below me, he died in a car crash, wasn’t wearing a seat belt, ejected along with his friend in the passenger seat. Rear passenger survived, was buckled in.

One a clinical psychologist, the other is some type of research role at a Dallas hospital. The third, and he might've played second fiddle to the first two, went murder-suicide in BR ten or so years ago.
We've got a 25 year reunion coming up that I'll probably go to, just because I'm home that weekend. Amazing how so many people just slip through the hands of time. Plus the things you learned about their home life once you're an adult, you wonder how they smiled through it.

Ours went to the Naval Academy and was a fighter pilot. He just got out and is flying for Fed Ex now. My wife was valedictorian of her class, she’s a clinical pharmacist at a local hospital.
