The girls often liked to date the football coaches. That kind of thing is frowned upon, generally.

A senior at our school was dating one of the substitute teachers(think he was 26). She was pregnant 3 months after graduation and married him a year later.

ETA: Don't think the school knew about it.

Yeah, I think this happened/happens a lot more than people realize.. It's just that today you hear about it a lot more.

I have a friend who's daughter married her professor at Auburn. The man is a total O. Has no common sense.
The summer of my 16 year, birthday in August, I started going out with a college girl who was 20. We became close and dated for 2 years until she graduated. Married a navy pilot. Never heard from her again.
Oh well.

Yeah, there was a gal in my class who always dated older guys.

I was not shocked when I found out that her husband is apparently 30+ years older than her.

As a teen in the mid 80's, it was not uncommon for girls ( 16, 17 ) to date guys 20 or 21 years old. However 26 is ridiculous.

When I was a senior in HS (Class of 1982 btw) one of the girls I knew since the 7th grade was dating a pro wrestler.

Either one of the VonErich's, or Michael Hayes, hell it coulda been nature boy Ric Flair even. I don't remember which one exactly, I just remember thinking "good for her catching a dude with cash and a big name/fame".

Funniest part was Lisa was at best a tier3 at that HS. Body by Ferrari, face by Volkswagen. We had several young ladies that really were models, did national ad campaigns for clothes and contact lenses, and such. Lisa was not even close to their league.

He recently said in an interview he had sex with over 10k women so there is a good chance he was doing the girl you went to HS with.

Ric Flair!

Gino Hernandez, perhaps?

He was known to be dating a HS girl at the time of his death.

Naw, it was a more generic Caucasian name. Whoever he was he was in Mid South Wrestling in 81-82 (Memphis). Was when Bill Dundee and Jerry Lawler had a years long rivalry and around the time Lawler nearly killed comedian Andy Kaufman in a match caused by Kaufman trying to be "artistic" in comedy.

I just remember he would pick her up from school. He drove a low rider that had a "nice" paint job and rims with a lot of sound in it... Which, even in the mid 90s, shouldn't have been something cool for a 26 year old.

And that same guy now struggles driving down the highway with an armchair in the back.

I banged my way through the cafeteria workers in high school. The sight of square pizza still gets me hard as a rock.
