I think one has to be pretty smart to go there. That's good right?

Like most shools probably doesn't matter much at all in the long run.

I think of my buddy Creighton

The only thing that comes to mind when I hear Creighton is that it is the host school for the CWS.

How they were able to steal Benoit Benjamin away from Dale Brown and LSU.

I think about the Roman Empire more often than I think about Creighton.

How do you like living in Omaha? Legit question.

I think very conservative Catholic school - perhaps I should say very orthodox (small "o") Roman Catholic as I'm talking religious, no necessarily political.
I'm Catholic, I'm not trying to impugn, but I have that notion as I have some medical colleagues who went to undergrad and med school there and they fit that bill.

Outside of basketball I don’t know shite about Creighton

They spent time in Nebraska.

I attended Creighton 87-91. It is a fairly liberal Jesuit university. Excellent pre-health school (medicine, pharmacy, dental). It also has an excellent business school. Like many catholic schools, it is not in a particularly nice part of Omaha (although currently much better than in the 80s).
Overall it is a second tier catholic school. Georgetown, Notre Dame, Boston College, Villanova, Holy Cross would all be considered tier 1 schools.
It is definitely not a conservative school. For example, in my day there was supposedly an atheist Jesuit who was a philosophy teacher.
I really wanted my 3 kids to attend Creighton however they were all turned off by how “woke” if came off during tours.

The first thing that comes to mind is Willis Reed sleeping with Benoit Benjamin's mom so he would turn down every major college basketball program to go to Creighton. That was the first time I had ever heard of Creighton.

Outside of maybe March madness, never thought about it once nor do I know where it is, anyone who went there, etc

Never heard of it. What do you think of people who went to Tulane?
It's actually similar to Tulane in that it's a wealthy private school and the majority of the locals connect more with the big state school that's an hour away.
At least that's according to my friends in Omaha that went to Nebraska. They don't like creighton much. I did a march madness bracket with this past season and they were hating on Creighton

LA had kid that was a talented, 7' basketball player. LSU wanted him bad. Creighton's coach started banging the kid's mom to sign the kid.
Lowdown.
