Never. Never once has a Cher song popped in my head. Cher has never been top of mind. Never listen to an entire Cher song. People who like Cher live on a different plane as she has not once been a topic of conversation to anyone I’ve ever spoken to.

As kid that outfit got my naughty parts warm and fuzzy as she struts around on a the power of America’s military mightiness.
I wonder how many sailors after recording that video had a solo session with themselves in their bunk. Of course we are talking about the navy before don’t ask don’t tell.

I remember when I’d hear Prince’s “1999” come on the radio I’d think of how it seemed like some far-off date in the distant future. The concept of an entirely new century, not to mention millennia, boggled my mind.
Now we’re over a quarter of the way through that century that seemed so far away.
