If I'm out of state I'll say something. If I'm in Louisiana, then no.

The "decked out" part of that post is important.

The people you described, unless extra trashy, don't walk around walk mart in an lsu hat, coaches polo, and belt.

I got a "tigerbait" yesterday in Illinois wearing an LSU shirt. Not quite sure the guy knew how it works...

Very good point, only one piece of LSU flair is necessary to show your fandom

And they more than likely didn't go to school there.

Saw an old guy overseas in the middle of nowhere with an LSU shirt, but didn't want to have an awkward conversation so I let it go.

On the other hand I wore an LSU shirt in Dubai and had 3 or 4 people stop and talk to me.

I might strike up a convo. But it would be kind of annoying if I was in a tourist place like Paris and some guy brought his LSU gear to represent. It's one thing if you live somewhere and wear it, but on vacation you can leave your college shite at home. Let go of your home for a while.

I definitely do. Always say Geaux Tigers. Sometimes I get strange looks, but screw those people. It doesn't happen too often way up here though.

Last week I was out for a run and ran past a guy wearing an lsu shirt. I happened to have on my lsu hat. We both saw each other in time to say Geaux Tigers and high five as we passed each other without missing a step. :csb:

I usually give a quick "geaux tigers". Living in NC, I've met several people who have adopted LSU as their "Football School", since the NC colleges haven't had much success on the BCS level.

nah, my friends up here say the same thing

but when i wear an LSU shirt in public up here, i expect to hear about it. so when someone says it to me, i say it right back. happened the other day at the gym. but others just must be oblivious.

Ill give them a geaux tigers every time I see someone out here in lsu gear. I think ill stop though because sometimes its not an lsu fan and the guy thinks I'm hitting on him... It is California after all.

Some of us live/work overseas in touristy areas. I'm not gonna trash my LSU shirts and buy France University shirts if I'm working in Paris.
I'll be in Paris Friday and I only have a polo, a company shirt, and a few LSU shirts in my suitcase, so it's likely I'll be representing depending on what the laundry situation looks like.

shite, most of the clothes my SO owns are Saints or LSU.. or just solid colored tees.

I don't spend my entire vacation in LSU/Saints gear, but I wear it in transit.

I'll be at Wimbledon in two weeks. Bringing a hat and two shirts with LSU on them. Have normally received a few Geaux Tigers.
