Do any of you baws in grade school at the time remember this fad?

For a couple of years they were all the rage again amongst the youth.

I remember being in middle school, you bought the top notch yo yo’s from places like Victoria’s Toy Station and you also had VHS’ from people that were yo yo masters.

My fav comedian (Kelsey Cook), her father I believe was a world champion at yo-yo. Her family are all elite foosball players also.

I had a black fireball that would sleep for days

If I remember correctly, my school - OLL in Mandeville - actually sold yoyos or at least parts in the office for awhile

I remember trading half of Fireballs with other kids so everyone had mismatched sides (purple/red, red/clear, etc)

XBrains were cool but you couldn’t sleep them as long

Is it just me or were there more fads in general in the 90s. Everything had its moment in the 90s.

And of course I had shite loads of badass yo-yos.
