Good grief, the guy taking Garlands spot today is horrid. TBH It's all pretty horrid. Since Buddy D passed away, the sports have sucked as well.

This is nothing new. I suppose people listen to this station ? I gave up years ago. I truly listen only when the Saints games are on. And I rarely listen to full games.

I put it on at work as background noise in the morning and it has gotten progressively worse. Funny enough Scoot may be the best of the worst. Tommy Tucker is horrid, and even more so when he has females on with him. Garland, when he is on, is generally a broken record on the same 3 or 4 topics. This guy Todd Mannassas sitting in for Garland is a lunatic, he's ranting and raving on air like a crazy.

I have to agree with this. I don't listen to Rush, much, anymore, and it's not because he's on another station.
Losing David Tyree all those years ago has been huge, and their quality hasn't improved.
Scoot in the Morning, I hate to "attack" the man, but he has no bona fides as a talk-show guy. He's only now thrust into this role at WWL because he has name recognition in New Orleans radio, but prior to this, has only been a rock DJ/drive-time comedy type personality.
Now, if what rock stars advocate and the rock star lifestyle and moral code is your thing, he's your guy. A significant minority of the population, however, can separate enjoying the music from adopting their morals, however.But he's the host, and you take him from that perspective and either call or don't.
But he can't think and discuss beyond bumper-sticker level. If you try to reason with him with any kind of depth, he gets frustrated and hangs up, perhaps calling you a name.
Sadly, we have no one else, in New Orleans, if this is what the 50,000 watt blowtorch gives us.

It could be way worse than Tucker in the mornings. He at least seems nice enough and isn't some ultra- liberal. He can be funny at times too. Garland completely puts me to sleep.

Tucker is so easy to frick with. I just text him whenever he starts bashing trump. Dude loses his shite. He's texted back and even called me out on air. I love it.
