The last great WWL broadcast was Bobby doing The Point After following the Saints - Patriots MNF game in 2009. That's radio that we'll never hear again.

Anybody ever listen to that show they have on Saturday nights when there's not an LSU game - "Desperate Reality with Johnny L"? Some religious guy who sounds like Peter Griffin from Family Guy and he has ministers on the streets of New Orleans trying to get alcoholics and drug addicts to say they love Jesus and come to his mission church. His ministers will call in that they have someone in the French Quarter or wherever who wants to be saved, usually wasted/incoherent, to talk to him. It is priceless as he gives them the third degree about Jesus. Probably the best show WWL currently has for the wtf factor.

I'm surprised too, but I actually thought that was pretty funny. Yenni is basically a predator, so it was more than just a gay slur. It's actually a good sign that he wasn't crucified for a stupid comment.

Had to travel to the city today for the first time in awhile. It is very hard to listen to 4 minutes of talk and 26 minutes of commercials, weather and traffic each half hour. After an hour or so I could not take it any longer.
I think they were talking about the same crap the last time i listened a year ago. They could definataly use some revamping.
