My parents told me i was conceived the night of the final stage of the tour de france in 1989. My dad wanted to name me after the french rider who came in second place, laurent fignon. Thank god my mom said no.

It brings back good memories of knocking up wife with daughter #2. In fact, we saw Hancock later at the movie theatre while we were at Orange Beach for the 4th week.

Especially back in the early 80s, at least in my case. No phones, internet, etc. And back before Satellite TV.
We went camping for a night over Memorial Day weekend. I quit counting how many Dish/TV/Generator setups I saw. There's no way I'd haul all of that out to a campsite just to watch TV. Tailgating is a different story since there are tons of other games on but out in the woods I want to get away from all that.
