The smell of towels and sheets dried by air cannot be duplicated by a dryer sheet.

Mine it was great when I was younger.

My dad has one, but he didn't get it until a few years ago. Both sets of grandparents had one and used them regularly.

using a clothesline to dry clothes

we put one up years ago when we discovered the HOA laws forbade clotheslines "visible from the street."

ours is visible if you look hard enough.

I've been using it ever since. Line dried clothes have a wonderful smell and it saves on the power bill.

Vacationed in Portugal this summer. It’s all we had to dry clothes. They smelled so fresh and so clean clean.

I've seen some badass clotheslines in Geauga county Ohio. Amish will take a wheel and bolt that sumbitch on top the peak of the barn....

Clothes go in the dryer. Sheets and towels get hung off the back deck.

Nothing smells better than air dried sheets. One of life’s simple pleasures.

Us after Gustave. We were out of power 12 days and that was before we had a generator. I just put up a rope in the back yard between 2 trees.

That's primarily what they use in Europe. Dryers are mostly an American thing

My daughter in England still uses a clothes rack. But it can’t be outside because it rains almost every day.
