When raising your children which age range did you enjoy the most?

Say up to 18 years old.
Examples 0-5, 5-10, 10-14, 14-18.
My boy is 5 and he is my oldest. The range 0-5 have been great. I would say the best 5 years of my life. When I watch old videos I just wonder where did the time go.
Curious to what age range people say they enjoyed the most especially for those who have older kids.

4-10 is awesome. 1-4 is too much work, 11-18 is too much attitude and worry.

My favorite was 4-1/2 -10.
If you have girls, 12 and up ain't for the faint of heart.

6 months-4 is pretty fun although it is mixed in with some terrible 2-3 year old time. I have only one child over 18 but 17-18 was pretty awesome and bitter sweet to live through with them.

Probably this. Old enough to where you don't have to do every single thing for them but still young enough to be your little boy or girl.

5-10. They still think that you are the best

Not really a range, but 4 year old age was the absolute best.
My boys are 11 now, so they're finally to the point where they just seem really big and obviously think they're grown up so even that is a huge departure from, say, 8 years old.
But nothing tops the 4 year old age, they are just so funny.

All of them really. My son who is 15, has me doing outdoor stuff more than I probably would without him.

I’ve loved it all, and hope it just gets better as the years go by, but I loved the 3-5 age. So much development.
I’ve just recently realized how fast it is all happening. It’s depressing to think about. I actually cried this weekend looking at old videos. Kids are both in school now, wife is back in her office—house is quiet and I hate it.

at 6th grade they are mouthy and hate you until they are about 23.

Tough question.
I think its easier when they are younger, but when they are older and start doing more things right than wrong....I cant describe that feeling for you.
Enjoy the whole journey.

I enjoyed the 2-4 because of the goofiness. Favorite is probably 10-14

I don’t mine helping them at all. When trying to help my 5 year old with a task I have been helping him for years he said “I can do it, I don’t need your help.” I said ok and almost got teary.

0-1 as a dad honestly is tough. Everyone lies about it though so you have no clue it’s coming
At that age there’s not much you can do for the baby, they mainly want mom, and the bond everyone is talking about like a magical instant Disney movie like trance just isn’t really there.
But starting at 1 everything changes for the better and you see why it’s so awesome

First few years after being potty trained. So around 3 until 7 or so. No more diapers and they're old enough to start taking to fun places, but young enough to be amazed by anything new or semi-cool

4-10 is awesome.
You don’t have to clean the shite off them and they think you are cool and they just want to play and have fun and they are sponges absorbing what you teach them.
Their values are formed in these years.
