When is the last time you’ve returned something?

My wife got a package from Amazon today and immediately wanted to return it so I had to retrieve the box from the trash. She returns at least a couple things a month as most women do. I can not remember the last thing that I’ve returned. If I order clothes and they don’t fit, they just hang in the closet anyway. My purchases are final and most are too cheap to worry about the hassle of returning.

I look at it that way too. If I make an uninformed purchase, that is on me. The sale is final. That's why when I find a brand/fit in that brand, I stick with it and will only consider something else if I try it on in a store.

Meanwhile, my wife will order a box full of junk with no intention to keep everything. She tries everything on and keeps only the best fitting stuff. She intends to return and sometimes she does, but often times life gets busy and it gets ratholed until the return window is over. So we basically blew half or more of the purchase.

My wife usually goes through the closet a couple times a year and donates clothes that we don’t wear. That gets rid of most things that don’t fit. If something is just a size too small though, I convince myself it’ll fit when I drop ten lbs.

The last thing I returned was a book bc I bought the wrong edition

I also returned a pair of pants within the last few months because they made my butt look big

Well, all pants make my butt look big but I didn’t like how big these pants made it look

Returned a belt last week on Amazon. The vendors sizing scale was off.

Perhaps you could try becoming less fat.

I always hang onto the box until I’m sure I’m keeping it.

I go to the UPS store close by to return near CCL. Easy peasy.

I ate 3/4 of a filet mignon at Arthur's steakhouse, but it was cooked wrong so I sent it back

I recently bought a flush ball for a toilet at Lowes and got home to find that I had bought the wrong one. Since I had the receipt and hadn’t opened it, I decided to return it.

When I got there, the lady at the “customer service” desk started giving me flak about returning the item. I asked her if I could see the item and turned around and dropped it and the receipt in a trash can directly behind me. As I walked off, I heard about 3 customers in line behind me laughing.

Within 5 minutes, I had the correct flush ball and was headed to the parking lot.

This morning when I got up

Went in one end last night, came back out this morning from the other end.

The "Circle of Life" if you will.

The nearest Amazon Dropoff is at Whole Foods about 10 minutes from the house. No box necessary- just start the return, get the QR Code, bag it up, slap the label on it and drop it in the bin. I have returned stuff within an hour of receiving it- if it’s not going to work for what I need it to do, I’m not keeping it.
