I haven’t seen two sober adults fight since the 1980s. As a kid I was working in a shop and two of the mechanics got into it. Apparently one was borrowing the other guys tools. He got his arse whooped with the quickness. Went smoke a cig, drank a coke, then went back to work with a black eye. He was gone a couple of weeks later.

In all seriousness I avoid situations that I think could escalate to violence if I can. I'd rather walk away and not risk getting hurt or hurting somebody. I'm ok with hurting somebody if they're being needlessly cruel to kids or animals.

Fist fighting basically never goes well. The more you talk to people who train and actually know how to fight, the more you'll hear how stupid and ignorant it is to get into a fist fight. The only time where you should throw hands is if you or a loved one is in actual danger and you're out of options.
