After a weekend of beer and doing some things the OT would do, I decided that I should probably start running this week. Holy shite, I am a frick ton more out of shape than I thought I was. The good news is that I very may just shite out all the weight I gained this weekend.

When did you realize you were out of shape?

Trick question. Everyone on the OT can run a 5k in under 29 minutes with no training.

When I decided I would rather sit through the commercials than change the channel.

29 minutes is slow AF. If you can’t run it in under 21 minutes you should re-evaluate your life.

I was in Moab and was winded walking up a hill. I was about a mile from a parking area or road. An old man effortlessly ran past me. A mile and a half later I thought I was doing well and a random Asian in penny loafers carrying an umbrella walked by. I'm not fat, I weight 165 lbs on a bad day. Even when I was a regular in the gym I was not in cardio/running shape. I can walk forever until I get to a hill.

Its 18 minutes. If you can't run a 5k in under 18 minutes, you are a total complete loser failure who should just give up.

As long as I can fit into the same size pants everyday and occasionally run a mile under 9 minutes I feel that’s good enough to support my eating and drinking choices.

After I stopped hitting the gym and pumping iron after a long day of work. Subsequently I have become a lazy frick and developed a beer gut.

I generally start trying to lose weight when I feel my belly bounce when Im driving on a bumpy street. However, each time I start back up it feels like I'm in a little worst shape than the time before.
