Whats your worst car experience?

I've had a few. Probably not as crazy but little things that basically frick up your day.
Stayed at Southgate Towers by LSU. Had my old car ('99 Grand Prix) and my "new" one ('10 Audi A6). Couldn't lock my grand prix but left it parked in the garage. Come in one day and someone went all through it. Didn't take anything but spilled all the changed on the floor
Another time we went downtown. Tried to find parking by the Chase building. Saw these truck with its lights on looking like they were leaving so i figured "Heck yeah, scored a spot". My friend behind me, who was a little tipsy, didn't want to wait. Tried to go around me and ended up side swiping on car and accidentally hit his gas and went straight into the back of my car. Had to drive around BR with a rear end for a week until i could it to the shop

Brand new Dodge Intrepid. Beautiful car with tons of internal space. Constant engine troubles from the beginning. Had to have the entire engine replaced at 10k miles. Left my pregnant wife stranded on the side of the road. Couldn't give me a Chrysler product after that.

While on boot camp leave me and another guy decided to help out our recruiters with a poolee function. On our way back from the function, I fell asleep in the passenger seat. I woke up to one of the guys in the back seat grabbing the steering wheel as we went into a ditch because the driver fell asleep. That was 9 years ago and I still can't sleep in a car.
Mechanically, my worst experience was my muffler falling off one hour into a 3 hour trip back to college.

Downvoted for mentioning Audi and not telling us what kind. You probably drive an a3 or 4 if I had to guess.

Right out of high school I was broke as hell and carless. Bought a used 1980 Pontiac Phoenix (their version of the Citation).
The motor was bulletproof. Nothing else was. Particularly the transmission.

Broke college kid and had to pop the hood and use a wrench to start my explorer for like 4 months
To be fair, I think you have to do that on a brand new ford as well

Lived in Houston. My awesome purple convertible was stolen by Katritians on loan to the Astrodome in late-2005.
They totaled it within 30 minutes at an intersection. HPD tells me that "three black males" exited the vehicle hastily.
During my farewell to that awesome car, at the impound yard, I noticed a head-shaped divot in the windshield, with blood. I smiled.

I used to talk to my wife about my car problems, but she got tired of hearing my saab stories.

stopped off at the QuickStop for some beer and cigarettes once, when I noticed the old man staring at my Corvette. I threw him the keys, and said, "Here, take her for a spin"

Bought an F250 for something like $28k. Drove it for a year and a half. It spent a year and a half in the shop after that, and ended up costing me around $30k to fix. That truck is why I changed careers.
Finally got it running okay enough to dump on this guy from Mississippi. He agreed to pay me $21k before I drove there. When it came time for him to pay me, all he had was $18.5k.
Within a week, he took it to the drag strip, blew the heads off, and blew up the tranny. Called me about it maybe 10x, when I finally told him to take the $2500 he screwed me out of and shove the truck up his arse. No more truck after that, and I am better for it
