I have a couple local stations, MyRadar, and Radar Scope.

I want to hate MyRadar like I used to, but they make it difficult with the features they keep adding.

As soon as Radar Omega gets their mobile app functioning a little better, I will probably get it.

There are a couple others that I may decide to get eventually. Also, if you can find a way to download the Tropical Tidbits widget, do so. It allows a homescreen link without having to go to the site.

my radar

This. No frills, just a simple radar. Women look at hour forecasts. Men look at radars.

Since it's raining again outside, and has rained pretty much every day forever, and the forecasts on my phone are completely random, I'm considering going back to the old weather-rock system. Hang a big rock using a rope. If the rock is hot, it's hot. If the rock is wet, it's raining. That's pretty much all we have these days.

MyRadar has a few frills. Its fronts layer is pretty accurate, temp map is good, but needs more stations, the wind layer is really cool, even if not the most accurate, and they just updated with an air quality layer. The globe option/feature is cool, too.

Hell, you can track satellites with it now.

I guess I've never really played around with it. I just always pull up the plain ol radar and it tells me what I need to know.

And I just found out they added a Wildfire and Smoke Hazard layer at some point. I really should pay more attention to it.

To get a good idea of what's going on when I'm planning a concrete pour or a fishing trip - Weather Undergraound.

For shitz and giggles when I feel like having my weather app cuss like a sailor - CARROT Weather.
